Weatherization
Approximately 25% of a home's energy loss is attributed to air leakage, which occurs when outside air enters, and conditioned air leaves your home through cracks. To prevent this, weatherization experts perform targeted air-sealing to seal up cracks and openings in your home.
Green Spark's Weatherization grant focuses on providing supplemental funding to assist low-moderate income households with the costs of weatherizing their home and receiving a home energy audit. Our Home Performance with Energy Star (HPwES) partner, Lumeco Energy conducts home energy audits and performed targeted air sealing based on audit findings. Green Spark will provide up to $2,500 in grant funding towards air leakage reduction measures approved under several Home Performance with Energy Star (HPwES) programs.
